Teacher and children on the woodland trail

Support for professionals

At The Elizabeth Foundation we believe that, to fully support all deaf children, it is vitally important to work in partnership and in parallel with the many professionals involved with every deaf child. We strive to support:

  • Teachers of the Deaf
  • Audiologists
  • Educational Psychologists
  • Pediatricians
  • Speech and Language Therapists
  • Health Visitors
  • GPs

We welcome professionals to visit, by appointment, from local health and education authorities both to find out about The Elizabeth Foundation's services and to discuss relevant issues regarding early diagnosis, early support and early intervention. When requested we contribute to Team Around the Child meetings and also to Statements of Special Educationall Need.

We also welcome medical and teaching students and trainees to visit to come and learn about our services.
