Julie Hughes featured in AB videos about Cochlear Implants

Our Chief Executive, Julie Hughes, has contributed to videos recently published by the AB (Advanced Bionics) Education and Training Department.

At the British Cochlear Implant Group annual meeting held in Southampton earlier this year, Julie Hughes – Chief Executive of The Elizabeth Foundation – was approached by staff from AB (Adanced Bionics) who asked if she would speak to camera about Cochlear Implants.

The AB Education and Training Department have recently published the resulting two videos. In the first, Julie explains the difference Cochlear Implants can make to speech and language development. In the second, she conveys a young adult’s message to parents about Cochlear Implants.

You can watch both videos below. Please note – subtitles are available on the videos by clicking the ‘subtitles’ button at the bottom right of the screen on playback.
