your school

Thank you for thinking about fundraising in your school to help deaf children find their voice.

Finding out more about deafness, combined with getting involved in organising and delivering fundraising activities can help pupils in a wide range of ways.

It can help to build their self esteem, give them confidence and develop skills such as team building, critical thinking, leadership and financial awareness.

Fundraising also offers opportunities for head teachers, fellow members of schools senior leadership team and other staff members to show themselves as positive role models.

Inspire your students by stepping outside your comfort zone and taking part in a personal fundraising challenge such as sky-diving, abseiling, zip-wiring or taking on a sponsored run, cycle, swim or walk. Or what about simply sitting in a bath of cold baked beans?

We will recognise your school and your students’ achievements by sending a personalised certificate of thanks and, if you would like, publicly acknowledging your hard work on social media.
