    • It can be tuneful or raucous. It can be inside or outside. It can use musical instruments or just pots and pans. You can shout or sing. It's totally up to you.

About Let's Hear it for Elizabeth!

Let's Hear it for Elizabeth - to celebrate The Elizabeth Foundation for preschool deaf children's 35th birthdayThe Elizabeth Foundation for pre-school deaf children is celebrating two special birthdays this year.

Our children are getting ready to mark Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth’s 90th birthday. And we're marking a special anniversary of our own.

It's 35 years since Shirley and David Metherell started a group in their front room so their profoundly deaf daughter Elizabeth and her young friends could learn to listen and speak.

Let's Hear it for Elizabeth - to celebrate The Elizabeth Foundation for preschool deaf children's 35th birthdaySince then we have grown to become the UK’s largest single education provider for pre-school deaf children.

We aim to provide deaf babies and pre-school children with the best possible start in life, so they can go on to achieve their full potential.

So let’s hear it for Elizabeth – not just The Elizabeth Foundation but all Elizabeths out there. We’d like you to join in and MAKE SOME NOISE – as much as you can and however you want – and then make a pledge. And once you’ve done it, challenge three friends to do the same.
